We at Perennial Software are fully aware that deciding on a new business software system for your company is a difficult decision to make.
Traditionally you have been required to make an investment of tens of thousands of dollars without really being able to assess the suitability of the software being proposed for your business. We are pleased to announce our new Implementation Guarantee that provides you with the security of knowing that you will fully understand and our solution prior to making a purchasing commitment.
Our Guarantee
If, after completing the Training Sessions, you are not entirely confident that TrackiT Now's software functionality and the related services we provide will meet your business requirements as stated in the Sale Agreement, you do not have to proceed with the implementation of TrackiT Now, and we will refund your deposit for the Software Licence Fees in full.
Our guarantee goes hand in hand with our leading edge analysis and implementation process that provides you with every opportunity to ensure that you are making the right decision - that is, to implement a system that meets your requirements in terms of both software functionality and the related services provided.
Our process allows you to experience TrackiT Now's software functionality the way you will want to use it in your business. You will also be able to judge the quality of our data conversion, training, and, if required, program modification services before making the final decision to proceed with the implementation of TrackiT Now for your business.
Our Implementation Process
Initial Assessment - Your Key Requirements - Return On Investment
We ask you what your key requirements are, your key reasons for changing from your existing system to another system. We try to identify what it may be costing your business to stay with your existing system.
We will also confirm whether TrackiT Now's pricing is in your "ballpark", so that you don't waste any of your time investigating a system that you could never afford.
Then we provide you with a brief report confirming which of your key requirements can be satisfied with TrackiT Now Business Software and the related services we provide. We also provide you with sample screens and reports, so that you can assess whether the “look and feel” of TrackiT Now is what you want.
In this report, we will also calculate a Return On Investment (ROI) that you can expect to achieve from implementing TrackiT Now. If there is no ROI, there is no point in upgrading from your existing system, and we will not process any further.
Discovery
If, after the initial meeting, you decide to continue to the next step, we undertake a discovery of your Business Requirements for each functional area that is relevant to your business (e.g. Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, etc), interviewing key people in your company to dig deep and flesh out all the issues that you want addressed.
Business Requirements Analysis
We prepare a detailed Business Requirements Analysis (BRA) for your approval. The BRA will provide you with many screen shots of TrackiT Now, so you will know what the software looks like, and it will match your business requirements against TrackiT Now's functionality, so you will know what the software can do.
The BRA will also provide you with indicative pricing for both software licence fees and the services required to implement and support TrackiT Now.
Demonstrations
Using the BRA as a guide, we will conduct a series of demonstrations for your key people in each of the functions that are relevant to your business (e.g. Sales, Purchasing, etc.)
Sale Agreement and Implementation Plan
If you are satisfied from the BRA and from the demonstrations that TrackiT Now will most likely meet your business requirements, we will prepare a Sale Agreement with an Implementation Plan for you to agree to and sign. At this time, a deposit amounting to 20% of the total software licence fee becomes payable.
Data Conversion
We will convert your data from your existing system into a TrackiT Now Training Database for your company. We may require assistance from your current software supplier to export the data from your existing software.
Training Sessions
Once again, using the BRA as a guide, we will conduct Training Sessions on TrackiT Now Business Software in each of the functional areas that are relevant to your business.
Program Enhancements
Should the requirement for any program enhancements become evident from the Training Sessions, we will perform those enhancements and submit them for your review and approval.
Final Approval
Once you are completely satisfied that TrackiT Now Business Software and the related software and services we provide will meet your Business Requirements, the balance of the software licence fees and the annual maintenance fee becomes payable.
If You Do Not Proceed?
If you choose not to proceed with implementing TrackiT Now, you will still have the Business Requirements Analysis to use for evaluating the functionality of other business software that you may be considering for your company, and you will have gained a substantial amount of knowledge about what is available in a modern business software solution.
The only costs to you in the above decision process (apart from the cost of your own time), are the costs of converting your data to the TrackiT Now database, of providing the training sessions, and of making any program enhancements that you have requested.
But these costs are incurred only after you have attended the demonstrations, by which time you will have already gained a high degree of confidence that TrackiT Now's software functionality can meet your requirements.
We can say this because we have already conducted an extensive Business Requirements Analysis, which you have approved, and which is used as the basis for our demonstrations of TrackiT Now.
And after the completion of the training sessions, you can limit these costs (and we recommend that you do so) by initially agreeing to only a few critical program enhancements, so that you can gain full confidence that our programming services are capable of providing you with the software enhancements that your business may require in the future.
