Our purpose is to design and develop Dashboards and Visualized Reports in Microsoft Power BI that help Senior Executives and Managers of Retail and Wholesale Distributors of Durable Products more easily access the complex data contained in their ERP databases to provide them with the information, knowledge and insights they need to make the best decisions they can for their companies.
For many years, we have been developing, implementing and supporting ERP and Business Intelligence applications that help product-based companies process their business transactions, manage their business activities, and make informed decisions based on Visualized Reports of their data.
Inventory and Supply Chain Management
One of the key objective of our ERP implementations has been to develop and implement functionality that coordinates customer demand with available stock and timely receipts from both external suppliers and internal supply warehouses.
The result is improved customer delivery performance with reduced investment in surplus stock.
Financial Management
Another of the key objective of our ERP implementations has been to provide functionality that helps the company manage its financial operations with accurate and timely management reports.
Business Intelligence and KPI's for Performance Measurement
Some of our ERP implementations have included Business Intelligence Software applications for creating reports and visual displays of the data buried deep in the ERP database, enabling managers to drill-down on their data and measure business performance.
This work has led to the development of a comprehensive suite of Visualized Reports that compare actual performance against targets - usually referred to as Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
A typical example of a Key Performance Indicator is the DIFOT Ratio of, say 90%, meaning that the target for delivering sales order lines in full and on time to all sales order lines is 90%. The Customer DIFOT report in Power BI that I have developed is a combined column and line chart that measures the actual ratio achieved, say 65%, to this target of 90%, by customer and by product, thus identifying a strong need for improvement in customer service delivery performance.About John Nankervis - Principal Consultant of Perennial Software
